Smart Struts® by VBP improve handling; reduce uneven tire wear, hub bearing wear and side loading. They virtually eliminate rear wheel camber changes. This greatly improves tire/road contact patch - keeping rear tires perpendicular to the road surface at all times.
The 1963-79 Corvette’s rear camber setting changes over 2 degrees at 2.5” of wheel travel. With Smart Struts® by VBP, the camber change is less than 1/10 of a degree at 5” of wheel travel.
Kit is pre-assembled and includes; custom mounting bracket, camber adjustment cams, HD strut rods with swedged ends for added strength, HD forged rod ends (not welded), polyurethane bushings with graphite, hardware and instructions. Made in America.
