The headers that fit 396, 427, 454, and 502 corvettes from 1970 to 1974 are now being handmade for Corvettes and directly replace the factory cast iron manifolds. These 2” primary tube 16 gauge headers are all handmade and welded for Corvettes. Your steering box, a arms, frame rails, idler arm and A/C boxes all clear your new headers and even 4 speed owners, your clutch jack-shaft will clear too! With 2 1/2' Collectors exactly the same as your old Cast Iron Manifolds. Copper coated internally to reduce engine compartment heat. A 3/4 inch tube will be required on some brackets due to the flange thickness difference between the cast iron header and the steel header flange.
