One great feature of 1997-2004 Corvettes was their sport seats with the power lumbar feature. Inside the seats is a bladder that is controlled by buttons in the seat. The bladder is inflated to suit the driver’s or passenger’s personal level of comfort. Unfortunately over time the bladders fail and this superb feature is lost. GM does offer a replacement, but at over $800 each or over $1,600 for a pair the price is quite frankly “crazy!” Now we have a replacement 1997-04 front seat bladder that is sensibly priced. In fact you can afford to replace both without breaking the bank and once again enjoy this “oh, so-comfortable” option. These bladders will fit either left or right seats. Replacing the bladders can be accomplished at home by do-it-yourselfers or installed easily by professionals.
